Kelly Curwin is TFRI's chief communications officer. She holds an MBA in communications and public relations management from Royal Roads University (Victoria) and a Bachelor of Journalism (honours) from Carleton University (Ottawa). As a communications consultant, she conducted work for the Fraser Health Authority, Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga, the University of Waterloo and KCI (formerly Ketchum Canada Inc.) in Toronto. She worked in public relations at McMaster University for more than a decade, and she is a former editor of Nunavut's Nunatsiaq News in Iqaluit. An award-winning writer and editor, she is a former volunteer for Wellwood Resource Centre in Hamilton, Ontario.
