Dr. Deborah Anderson is the Director of Research at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, a Professor in the Division of Oncology, College of Medicine and the leader of the Cancer Research group in the Health Sciences building, University of Saskatchewan. She received her B.Sc. honors degree and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Manitoba. Dr. Anderson then received post-doctoral training at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute in Toronto.
In 1991, Dr. Anderson became a Research Scientist at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency in Saskatoon and in 2012 took on the role of Director of Research. Her research program is focused on breast cancer and factors which regulate cancer progression and metastasis.
